What Information We Collect

We collect information in two ways: information you give us directly, and basic information collected automatically when you use our site.

Information you provide directly:

• Email address, when you submit it via our cost calculator or contact form
• Name and contact details, when you book a consultation or engage us for a project
• Calculator inputs (WordPress cost figures), if submitted alongside your email — these are used only to send you your results
• Any other information you choose to include in messages to us

Information collected automatically:

• Basic analytics data — pages visited, referral source, approximate location (country/region), device type. We use Cloudflare's built-in analytics, which does not use cookies and does not track individuals across sites.

We do not use advertising trackers, third-party cookies, or cross-site tracking of any kind.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Respond to enquiries and communicate with you about potential or active projects
• Send you the results you requested from our cost calculator
• Send occasional updates about PressFixer's services, if you have consented to receive them — you can unsubscribe at any time
• Understand how our website is being used so we can improve it
• Comply with legal obligations

We do not use your information for automated decision-making, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to providing or improving our services.

Your Express Consent (CASL)

In compliance with Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL), we will only send you commercial electronic messages if you have provided express consent. When you submit your email via our calculator, you are consenting to receive your requested results. We will not add you to a marketing list without a separate, clear opt-in.

How We Store and Protect Your Information

Form submissions (including email addresses collected via our calculator) are processed and stored by Tally.so, our form provider. Tally stores data on servers in the European Union and is subject to GDPR. You can review Tally's privacy policy at tally.so/privacy.

Our website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare's infrastructure is SOC 2 Type II certified. No payment information is stored on our servers — all payments are processed directly by Helcim.

We retain personal information only as long as necessary for the purpose it was collected, or as required by law. You may request deletion of your data at any time.

Sharing Your Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share data only with:

• Tally.so — form processing and storage
• Helcim — payment processing (for clients who engage our services)
• Calendly — scheduling (if you book a consultation)
• Cloudflare — website hosting and analytics

Each of these providers is bound by their own privacy commitments. We have selected providers who do not use your data for advertising purposes.

We may disclose information if required to do so by law or in response to a valid legal process.

Your Rights

Under PIPEDA (Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act) and Ontario's privacy framework, you have the right to:

• Know what personal information we hold about you
• Request a copy of your personal information
• Request correction of inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your personal information
• Withdraw consent to receive marketing communications
• Lodge a complaint with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada

AI Processing and the PressFixer Agent

Our post-migration service includes access to an AI agent that allows clients to make plain-English content edits to their website. When you use the agent, the content you submit — website copy, text changes, instructions — is processed by a third-party large language model (LLM) provider in order to generate the requested edits.

This processing is limited to the specific content you submit for editing. We do not send your personal information, contact details, or any information unrelated to the editing task to AI providers.

We take reasonable steps to select AI providers with strong data protection commitments, including contractual limits on the use of submitted content for model training. Content published on pressfixer.com, including blog posts and articles, may be drafted or assisted with the help of AI writing tools. All published content is reviewed, edited, and approved by a human before publication. We are responsible for the accuracy and integrity of everything we publish.

Cookies

Our website does not use cookies. We do not use advertising networks, retargeting pixels, or any third-party tracking scripts. Our analytics are powered by Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookieless and does not track individuals.

Children's Privacy

Our services are intended for business owners and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 18. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us immediately.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. We will not reduce your rights under this policy without providing clear notice.
